Mechanical Design Engineer - Hampshire - £40k
The Client
My client are looking to bring on board an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen their growing engineering team in a small but dynamic division of a major UK Oil and Gas services company.
The Role
* Technically challenging, working on the full lifecycle of large projects
* Working as part of a team within engineering as well as working closely with other departments
* The role involves the next generation of wireless downhole tools
The Candidate
* Strong mechanical design background with particular emphasis on pressure vessels, sealing techniques and downhole oilfield tool design
* 3D modelling experience
* Experience of producing design specifications, qualification and factor acceptance test plans, bills of materials, drawings and test reports
* Similar areas of expertise include aerospace, pressure sensor design, ROV design and pressure vessel design
The Salary
£40,000 pa
