Technical Architect, Java, J2EE, Oracle - My client a premiere software house are currently seeking 2 Technical Architect to join their existing development team of over 50 Developers. These 2 Architects will become the key pillar of technical knowledge for the team, as such extensive experience with Enterprise Edition architecture and development is a must have. Candidates will ideally have a very strong understanding with multi-tier systems, in particular comfortable with backend databases (Oracle). This role will work in tandem with the Project/Programme managers and development managers to ensure that development projects are completed on time to the highest possible quality. Your role will also include advancing the technology stack and you will be given the opportunity to suggest new directions in line with business requirements. This role comes with the potential for dramatic advancement within the company, quite simply if you perform they aim to offer temp to perm roles.
My client are ideally looking for 2 Architects to drive the business forward however they would consider a very strong Developer with Architectural aspirations.
Background:
- Managerial experience, working with teams of varying size, working with contractors
- Experience working with 'off the shelf' applications
- Architectural work for 3+ years (preferred)
- Solid Development background (Ideally 7 years) in Java
- Consultancy experience (preferred)
