Senior Compliance Manager
A leading, global banking group has a new vacancy within it's key offices inLondon. This banking group require a new compliance professional that can take a senior position within the global retail function of Group Compliance. This is an excellent role for a compliance professional that has worked at length in retail financial services and wishes to move up to the next stage in their career.
As a Senior Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain oversight of the Bank's retail Compliance functions management and mitigation of regulatory risk
- Direct activity and resource to undertake special investigations into major control breaches that have a serious regulatory impact on the retail arm
- Reporting responsibilities to Senior Executives, escalating issues and providing solutions
- Support execution of the compliance monitoring programmes carried out across the group and maintain oversight
Key Skills required:
- 5+ years compliance experience gained at a retail FS provider
- Retail banking experience preferred
- Detailed knowledge of the regulatory requirements and key issues that are relevant to retail financial services
- Proven experience of monitoring regulatory compliance processes, practices, risks and customer outcomes in a financial services institution
- Knowledge of compliance best practice and expertise in the key product areas for retail financial services
- Proven capability of dealing with regulators at a senior level
Salary: £65- £80,000
