We require qualified Interim Educational Psychologists to join our area team of Educational Psychologists.

The service is solution orientated and committed to evidence based practice, in an authority that has seen psychology emerge as central to SEN (special education needs) strategic development.

The development of wider policy and practice is aimed at raising the achievement of vulnerable groups and improving quality of life for children and young people with learning difficulties and additional risks. The service structure recognises a key role for Educational Psychologists in working with colleagues to deliver against LA priorities in relation to the mental health and well being of children and young people in Essex.

You will have experience of working in this field, your own transport and be able to travel throughout Essex.

Successful candidates must obtain a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure Certificate.
