Robert Half Finance and Accounting are looking to recruit a Finance Project Manager for a period of 12 months. Our client is a well respected Financial Services organisation located in the heart of Edinburgh. They are restructuring at present and need someone who can provide a project support service to the Finance department and act as a general support to the Finance Management Team.
As Finance Project Manager, typical duties will focus around managing and co-ordinating finance department projects. More specifically, you will support a major finance systems upgrade project, co-ordinate finance monitoring groups, undertake ad hoc process or systems analysis and produce recommendations for change and oversee and co-ordinate production of ad hoc management information requests.Applicants should be qualified accountants with business project management experience, preferably within financial services. In addition, previous experience of working within a finance department and dealing with processes and controls development is essential. You must be comfortable managing and maintaining progress on multiple projects and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary will be circa £50k - £55k plus benefits including potential completion bonus.
