Huxley Associates is proud to be working for a very well reputed manufacturing organisation within the East Midlands that specialises in producing building products and they require an Operations Manager. They have a fairly flat organisational structure that is excellent to work in with Senior Management working very closely with the shop floor. They are one of the largest building product Manufacturers in the UK and at a Group level they are owned by a giant global player, which leads to excellent career prospects both domestic and international. The Operations Manager will have up to 120 indirect reports and will report straight into the MD. You will be managing 2 sites in the East Midlands sites and be responsible for productivity, cost control, lean manufacturing initiatives and improve process efficiencies whilst optimising production. Health and safety is extremely important as a business and the Operations manager will be responsible for maintaining the impeccable standards.
The package on offer is circa £60,000 + 27 days holidays + company car + pension + family Bupa + 17.5% bonus.
Interested? We are looking for an Operations Manager who can hit the ground running in this role. The right candidate will have strong man management and leadership skills. You will ideally be degree educated, ideally within an engineering background, also having experience and/or qualifications in Lean Manufacturing. You must have extensive experience of health & safety and improving processes and optimising production.
