My client in the financial services industry has the requirement for a Network Engineer to join their Enterprise Infrastructure Support group within their Network Operations in London. This is a permanent role based in Central London paying upwards of £40,000 plus their great permanent package. The salary will go up depending on the candidate.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
Working as a part of a focused team managing Enterprise customer Infrastructure
Installation, management and fault troubleshooting
Responsible for RPM testing and package development
Liaising with Engineering and R&D teams for production and hardware development
To be suitable for this Network Engineer position you must have recent hands-on experience with:
Linux Server Administration
Various L2/L3 protocols and technologies: TCP/IP and related protocols BGP and MPLS related services
WAN and LAN
Cisco and/or Juniper
Qualifications such as Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIS, Linux (e.g. Red Hat RHCT/RHCE) or equivalent are desirable
