My client a world leader in Web technology for financial trading working with the world's largest financial institutions are looking for an excellent Java Developer to join their world class development team.

The successful Java Developer will also be able to coach junior developers on the team and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions. The candidate will also be expected to provide input into improving our engineering process and introducing new ideas and technologies.

Essential Skills
- Core Java (J2SE)
- Experience of building multi-threaded, low latency performance-critical applications
- Usage of unit test and mocking frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito and JMock
- Apache Ant and Maven
- Continuous integration systems such as Go or Jenkins
- Agile teams and conversant with modern Agile practices
- Experience of working with a version control system, such as Perforce or Subversion
- Unix/Linux exposure
- A degree in computer science or similar technical subject
