TRAINER/ASSESSOR IN CATERING

£15-£15.50 per hour (with mileage payable when working)

37 hours per week, hourly paid and temporary on an ongoing basis. The hours are generally 8.30am-4.30pm however some evenings may be necessary when assessing.

Capita Education Resourcing are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in Catering in the Blackburn Area to work full time on a temporary basis and paid hourly.

The candidate we are looking for will be an experienced Assessor/Trainer in Catering who can 17th December 2012 and will be on a temporary basis until 1st March 2013. Those applying have to already hold an enhanced CRB too.

The Candidate must hold a Level 3 qualification in Catering and will have an assessors award.The Candidate has to have been involved in the assessment of learners on apprenticeships previously and they have to have been assessed in the workplace. Candidates will also have a working knowledge of the sign up and sign off procedure for apprentices.

The subjects and levels that candidates will be expected to assess/train will be NVQ Professional Chef Level 2 and 3 qualifications, Functional Skills in English and Maths at level 1 and level 2, Key Skills in English and Maths at level 1 and 2 and also technical certificates.

Furthermore, excellent administration skills are necessary, ability to pay close attention to detail. Competent on a computer - outlook, excel and Internet.
