The Organisation:

Our client is a rapidly growing solar PV company looking to take on a Marketing Manager - Distribution. They’re an exciting, friendly and very fast growing solar installation company. They really care about their work and about looking after their customers. They are highly ambitious and looking to build on their already very strong growth in the last 24 months.

The Role:

They are seeking a Marketing Manager in South East England to grow their distribution business tenfold over the next five years. You will be in charge of running the marketing of the company, cover various day to day activities. Ideally with experience in marketing in a construction, installation or service related business. The job offers plenty of opportunity for the right individual to grow in the role and create a successful career for themselves

• Marketing planning for the segment.
• Preparing and managing the marketing budget and measuring the effectiveness of activity.
• Monitoring marketing activity and reporting on progress.
• Helping to define our values added to installers e.g. leads, conferences, webinars, email blasts, blogs) and working with country heads and country marketers to execute on the development of this model.
• Development of campaigns to create customer pull in a modern, cost effective manner.
• Working with Sales to launch distribution business in new territories.
• Working with the rest of the Distribution marketing team to promote our improved offers, new products, new service features and other IT enhancements.
• Managing our presence at trade shows.
• Working with the rest of the marketing team to evolve and develop the brand.

Qualifications and experience:
• Experienced international marketer.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Multi-strand campaign experience with consumers and SMEs to drive leads and therefore growth
• Able to create enthusiasm from Sales to exploit marketing opportunities.
• Budget management.
• Creative, commercial and pragmatic.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Highly collaborative
• Highly adaptable and able to handle the rapid changes in the industry (changing FiTs, changing sales strategies).
• Excellent copywriting skills.
• Knowledge of solar market is a bonus.
• Education: A level or equivalent and degree calibre
