An exciting contract opportunity has arisen with my client based in Liverpool who has an immediate requirement for an Application Packager/Citrix engineer, on a 6 month contract.
The Role
The successful applicant must have the ability to support and administer Citrix XenApp 6.5 on Windows 2008 R2 and Microsoft App-V 4.6. Also, ability to install applications through RES automation tool. The contractor will be required to monitor the Citrix farm, diagnose issues with Citrix XenApp and Microsoft App-V published applications and to provide support to users where needed.
There is also an element of completing server rebuilds when necessary, sequence App-V application updates, and package and deploy non-App-v applications via RES.
