My client is looking for an experienced Production Planner/Master Production Scheduler to work on a long term contract in the North West.
You will be working with the planning department and will help define master scheduling within the company.
Key Tasks:
Assist in establishing and defining MPS.
Work closely with sales order management.
Create a master schedule that reflects requirements for customer service, forecasts, stock orders, inventory levels, manufacturing and plant capacity.
Key interface between planning and sales, customer service, project management teams.
Work as part of the data management project team in defining and managing key areas that directly relate to the Master Schedule.
Cover for Production Planner role during holidays.
Qualifications:
Diploma institute of operational management/APICS
3rd level qualification preferably in supply chain management
Experience:
Minimum 5 years within master scheduling
Minimun 5 years experience as a Production PLanner
Experience within ERP environment ideally with MFG Pro
Experience in MRP/MPS implementation
Good overall understanding of ERP environment and data management
