
My client have recently moved from an "outsourced" to "in house" IT model, and are looking to build a new team to service the business, employing the latest technologies and giving every colleague within the department a good deal of variety, responsibility and chance to improve their own skill-set.
They are looking for a database developer who has excellent programming skills with:
- SQL Server (2000/2005/2008/2012)
- Transact-SQL / TSQL
- SSIS / DTS / ETL
This role will be a mixture of support and development, and offers every candidate the opportunity to up-skill in a variety of cutting edge technologies (including business intelligence (Microsoft BI Stack), web development & data-warehousing).
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a real passion for developing themselves within a technical environment.
The role will involve regular interaction with end-users and customers, and so demands a confident communicator who enjoys talking to both technical and non-technical people within the business.
In return they offer a salary of between 34-37K and a comprehensive benefits package including:
