Working in a team of 15 based in Bristol, this role is responsible for the preparation of financial accounting packs for group companies to support quarterly reporting. Procedures include extract of TB/disclosures from ledgers/source systems, upload of completed packs to the consolidation system, matching of intercompany balances, proving figures to management accounts, preparing variance analysis and commentary, obtaining FD sign off.
Qualifications/ Preferred skills:
Must be a qualified accountant with experience of financial accounting and consolidations, advanced user experience of SAP and Microsoft Office, a good communicator and team-worker, willing to work flexibly including long hours and weekends during quarter end reporting. This role is also supporting the implementation of a new LBG consolidation system so will be involved in project activities such as user testing, parallel running and data reconciliations
