A globally recognised financial institution is looking to hire a Technology and Commercial Lawyer to work in house in the Legal division of theLondonoffices. This is an excellent in house opportunity for a legal professional with experience in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of technology agreements and would relish working in a fast paced corporate environment.Responsibilities:a) financial services technology at different stages of the trade lifecycle including: procuring, market data, pre-trade analytics, electronic trading platforms (including those which are white-labelled), order management and reconciliation systems, direct market access, trade reporting and surveillance systems, execution management systems and FIX connections.b) technology contracts for the Infrastructure and in-house development teams software licences, maintenance and support agreements, hardware purchase, maintenance and support, software development and consultancy, telecoms and outsourcing agreements.c) data protection matters (UK, EU and international) advising on cookies laws, handling data protection notifications, subject access requests, cloud computing issues and international data transfersd) providing support to the litigation team on technology related disputesKey Skills Required:
Qualified in a reputable firm with six years solid post qualification experience in private practice or already in house in financial services or other relevant industry sector.Strong experience drafting and negotiating the aforementioned technology and data protection agreements
Must have a minimum of 6 years post qualification experience
Salary: £70 - £80k
