Primary Care Clinical Education Co-ordinator
The project manager will rapidly put in place a structure for an education strategy and delivery plan, focussing on those redesign areas which are consistent with CCG Commissioning Intentions(including the QIPP programme), and which also support the strengthening of primary care provision. The project manager will also be required to implement actions identified within the plan where these are within the timeframe of employment.
The project manager will be managerially accountable to the Head of Primary Care, however the expectation is that strategic direction for the development of the Primary Care Education Strategy and associated plan will be provided via the GP leads for Education and Primary Care. There will be a requirement for extensive engagement with these individuals, as well as the wider GP community and clinical colleagues in local Provider organisations. The project manager will also liaise with management colleagues in the CCG and in local stakeholder organisations as well as with patients or representative groups, education facilitators and potential event attendees from outside of the CCG.
Essential skills are: Experience of managing complex projects to completion Experience in developing and delivering training workshops and events Experience in developing educational resourse materials Excellent communication skills Effective interpersonal and influencing skills Good stakeholder management Microsoft literate Ability to communicate across organisations and in complex environments
This is a full time role based in London. It is initially 3 months with a strong possibility to extend to 6 months paying up to £400 per day.
