South Yorkshirebased engineering firm who specialise providing quality industrial manufacturing equipment and services are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for a 3 to 6 month contract. The role will pay £20 to £25 p/h.
We require a Project Manager who will work closely with their customers to define requirements, and then oversee the design, manufacture and installation of equipment. The successful candidate will have the ability to review the customer's current production lines & methods and project manage solutions that will fit within their current set up.
The role requires someone who is willing to undertake international travel as you will be based abroad on customer site up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities include accountability for all aspects of project execution including overseeing production line layout engineering, vendor / and customer contract negotiation and management, equipment procurement, schedule management, project finances, site management and installation support.
This position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors. Maintaining and growing solid client relationships is a key responsibility. The position also includes the supporting of the sales in a technical applications role, as and when the need arises.
Requires excellent engineering and project management skills, including machinery applications, computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, & AutoCAD), and excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Candidates must be proficient at converting verbal, written, and other media-based information into project documentation, managing integration of packaging automation lines, and leading project teams.
