Embedded Software Engineer - East Hampshire - £25-35

A unique career opportunity within the broadcasting industry has arisen for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop their skills within a leading Electronics Product Design and Manufacturing company.

As the Embedded Software Engineer you will contribute at all stages of the development process. You will be predominantly working on professional video equipment and video processing. You will be programming Embedded platforms in low level C, and working on the ARM based chip with a Linux operating system. Your day to day activities will be a range of product development with some product support and de-bugging responsibilities as well.

Essential skills:

- Experience in Embedded systems

- Experience in C and Python

- Experience with Arm

- Experience with Linux

It would be highly beneficial but not essential to have experience within a broadcasting environment.

The team is a multi-disciplinary team of engineers working in a 'family-like' environment. The atmosphere is informal and working closely with everyone as well as being extremely enthusiastic and hard working. The team regularly socialise on Friday's so they are looking for someone who would be keen to be part of a small team and be eager to continue to learn and develop. They offer a unique career opportunity within the broadcast industry and being a smaller team your work is noticed immediately.

Salary - £25-35k
