Head of Planning - Scotland (central belt) - £65k+

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head of Planning to join my client, a leading Developer in the renewable energy sector.

Your first assignment will be to secure planning approval for onshore wind farms in various locations across Scotland and the north of England.

Your main responsibilities will also include hiring, managing a specialist planning team, liaising with local authorities and ensuring targets are met.

You'll be responsible for providing strategic planning advice, creating and submitting masterplans and negotiating complex wind farm projects currently in the planning phase. As a result, successful candidates will be required to demonstrate their practical experience in a previous Director/ Head of Planning/ Associate Director position.

You will be working on large scale projects, so prior experience of doing so will substantially strengthen your application. If your experience is from the renewable energy sector then you're almost certain to be invited for an interview.

In return you'll be offered a competitive benefits package, with a salary between £65-95k depending on your previous experience.

To apply for this position please call Mike Reynolds on 0131 243 4000
