This school is a mixed 11-18 popular and oversubscribed comprehensive with over 1000 students on roll. The most recent Ofsted in March 2011 commented; "Energising abilities' is the school's mission and this is reflected in the energetic approach of the school's staff who succeed in providing a safe and caring environment for their students."
The 2011 Diocese of Westminster inspection stated; "This school is judged as a good school with outstanding features."I am seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Science. The successful candidate should be committed to teaching across the 11-18 range and preferably have additional the ability to teach A Level. We are looking for an exceptional teacher to join a department which is promoting excellent teaching and learning in order to secure outstanding outcomes, and who works well with staff and pupils to inspire a love of Science.Sorry - this post is not suitable for a NQT.The successful candidate:
- An outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Ability to teach across the full age range including AS and A Level.
- A person committed to the highest standard of achievement for all students.
