Main Accountabilities
Assisting the direct line manager and Head of UK Business Operations as and when required with various IT and operational projects and is an escalation point for their team's supervisor. The manager is also responsible for developing a well motivated, focused and Risk & FSA compliant team.
Perform and co-ordinate user acceptance testing ( UAT)
Lead by example, demonstrating core behaviours and values including teamwork, focus, drive and determination.
Work collaboratively across GMO/WTO/Front office and other entities on IT and or operational projecyts.
Actively manage the team within Business Operations to minimise operational losses and control weaknesses and raise them with the head of UK business operations/Risk/Compliance and or senior management.
Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a maner that takes account of operational risk considertions.
Is aware of regultaory associated with the teams functuions and understands when to apply.
Knowledge & Experience
Ability to influence and persuade at all levels within the relevant customer groups
Good relationship building skills across multiple customer groups
Proactive, self motivated and has ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of financial markets and private client services
