Further information

Middle Office Technology Group of Investment Bank looking for skilled Java Developer with some exposure to .Net development.

This group is based in the Middle Office with a focus on Risk, PnL and Risk positions - the role is to join a team looking at Analytics to work on a number of development projects to improve the current systems and to build some new applications.

The majority of the development will be done in Core Java using multithreading so candidates must have excellent Java skills. There will be minimal work in .Net, C# - so if you have any exposure that will be great. If not, it isn't a real problem.

On top of the Java development skills, you must have experience in systems design and architecture. This role will involve you working with the business to understand their requirements and design applications and systems from scratch so candidates must demonstrate a track record of this experience.

In addition, whilst experience in risk is not specifically required, all applicants must have previous experience working in an Investment Bank or a Hedge Fund. The area that you work in does not matter too much, but you must have experience of delivering to a business stakeholder.

Communication is key - you must demonstrate the ability to communicate with both developers and the business, including Middle Office professionals and Front Office professionals.

If you are a solid Java Developer looking for a route into a Senior role with a lot of design and architecture, this is for you!

Please apply ASAP to be considered.

£70k + bonus + benefits.
