Java Developer - Media -West London- £45-£50,000
One of the leading time-to-value providers of process management software are looking for a Java Developer to join the team as it continues to grow. They have clients across the telecoms, broadcasting and media industry including FTSE 100 listed companies.
As a java developer you will be involved in all aspects of development and have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies. Currently my client is migrating from a Perl core system to a new Java based business layer. Knowledge of Perl is not essential but would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with development manager to determine the design and technologies for SOA EE6 stack.
- Develop new features and functions to high quality and agreed specification
- Provide 3rd level support to the professional services team.
- Provide proof of concept development to support business initiatives
Essential skills:
- EJB3 or 3.1
- Web services, Rest, SOAP
- Java EE6
- Hibernate/JPA
- Understanding of MVC
- SQL
Beneficial skills:
- BPM
- TCI/IP, Perl
