Urgently seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join one of Greater Manchester's most successful businesses. The DBA will join a large development team and will be working closely with senior stakeholders in the business. This role requires a real expert in SQL Server, and a candidate who has extensive experience with either SQL 2005 or SQL 2008 R2.
Key Skills Required:
~> SQL Server RDBMS (2000/2005/2008)
~> Production DBA Experience including:
- SQL Server upgrades, replication
- Backups /Restores
- Performance tuning
- Disaster Recovery
- Security
- Indexing
~> Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience (not essential):
~> T-SQL Development
~> SSIS
