This is a UK wide consultancy with multiple offices in the EU offering services in Energy, Environment, Geotechnics, Sustainability, Planning & Development, Transport, Waste Management and Water Management.

The Role:

Our client is seeking to recruit either a Geotechnical Engineer or Assistant Engineer to join an established team in Kent. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from large multi-disciplinary land development through to single discipline due diligence as part of planning and site acquisition through to construction and emergency stabilisation works. You will undertake Phase 1 desk and due diligence studies, undertake ground investigations procurement, supervision and reporting, field sampling and monitoring and data assessment.


Person Specification:

• Degree-qualified in Geotechnics/Geology/Civil Engineering with modules in Soil Mechanics or Environmental Science with Geology and Maths modules.
• A strong understanding of geotechnical principles including earthworks and foundation design
• Knowledge and interest of contaminated land and remediation
• Team player
