Legal Counsel - 3 month FTC - Asset Manager
A leading Asset Manager in Londonis seeking an experienced lawyer for a 3 month project within Legal Counsel.
Responsibilites:
-Corporate consolidation projects including bank consolidations; asset management restructure and miscellaneous projects
-Liquidating extraneous legal entities
- Moving companies (or business lines) by merger, share contribution, dividend or sale;
- Governance awareness training for regional senior management
- Counsel on ad hoc governance matters;
- Participation in various governance committees
- Facilitation of year-end board/committee self-assessments.
- Counsel for international branches and rep offices
- Advising on the establishment of branches and rep offices in EMEA/South America
- Providing legal advice and assistance to the Company Secretarial Team
-UKsupport to M&A projects on Due diligence
- Completion mechanics (Stock transfers, filings with UK Companies House, payment ofUK stamp duty)
Location -London
Salary - £300 to £400 day rate
Availability - Immediate
