Business Objects & Java Developer - Contract - £600/day
My client, a tier 1 bank in London is looking for a contractor to join their team for a rolling 6 moth contract paying £600/day.
Role: Business Objects and JAVA Developer
Main Duties
Business Objects reports writer & JAVA developer to deliver the following:
* Build a new Business Objects Universe to provide an end-user self-service reporting and analytics capability
* Develop new Business Objects reports (work includes knowledge of master detail, cross-tab, drill-downs, cascading prompts, custom hierarchies and merged dimensions, applying row level and data level security)
* Write JAVA code to make enhancements and changes to existing OpenPages batch notifications or any OpenPages functionality requiring JAVA / J2EE code additions (understanding and experience of data structures and algorithms, core JAVA libraries, JUnit testing and logging frameworks (log4)
* Daily interaction with the other Open Pages / Business Objects developers (on-shore and off-shore)
* Interact with the business stakeholders and project team
