I have an urgent role for a Business Systems Analyst based in the West End of London at a global very well known outlet company.

Purpose
Responsible for investigating, identifying and improving business systems and processes by bridging the needs of the business through the use of IT.
Role:
Determine operational objectives and study business functions, processes and systems. Identify and recommend possible improvements
Design new systems by analysing functional requirements and constructing workflow charts, diagrams, and producing written specifications
Identify options for potential solutions by assessing them for both technical and business suitability
Support the business's use of their external system and ensure all processes are documented and kept up to date by local teams
Monitor the quality of the support provided by third parties and resolve related issues
Provide technical expertise to facilitate decisions concerning solutions to functional requirements
Recommend controls and audits by identifying problems and writing recommended procedural changes
Interface with partners around the business to scope projects and document requirements
Manage project budgets and direct the system development life cycle from inception to completion where required
Develop project plans by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements and form project teams
Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports and recommend actions where necessary
Promote and champion my clients Change Request Process and coach users on system development best practices
Manage all work teams including technical, creative, and production as well external suppliers and contractors
Provide reference for users by writing and maintaining user documentation, providing help desk support where required and train users on system use
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends on system performance
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the industry and products by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Work with members of the IT department to collectively achieve departmental and individual objectives
Develop testing scripts, organise testing, report on issues found and arrange sign off by project owners
Communicate system changes, benefits and strategy with senior stakeholders, steering and related user groups
Skills:
Must have worked on projects with financial systems or payment projects
SQL
MS Visio
.net frameworks understanding
