Head of Software Development - £55,000 - £65,000
Location:Manchester
My client is one of the largest and most established solutions providers in theUKfor over 20 years which supplies their services to a diverse range of sectors and are currently looking to recruit a Head of Software Development.
You will be self-motivated and able to work in a highly demanding environment. A team player is essential along with good communication skills both spoken and written.
The role includes:
Performing technical research and writing functional design specifications
Design, implement, test and maintain features in the software
Making enhancements to existing software components
Review and test specification and documentation manuals
Essential Skills:
Expert level software engineering experience in Java on Unix/Linux platforms.
Strong experience with QT framework is a must.
The candidate must have previous proven experience of working with systems that are real time and scalable.
