MarketData Support, Desktop Support, 2nd line support, FactSet, Fidessa, Windows 72nd Line Desktop Support Analyst is required to join the IT team within a well established Financial Organisation. (Stockbrokers/Financial Advisory).This role is an ideal opportunity for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to focus on their MarketData knowledge.- Has some understanding of equity trading/market data
- Firm interest in financial markets
- Experience troubleshooting market data/trading systems such as FactSet, Fidessa ETW or ETP, Bloomberg, Eikon
- Basic understanding of trading network
- Windows 7 experience/exposure (rollout experience preferable)
- MCP Windows 7 (or equivalent)
- MS Office 2007/10 support skills to 2nd line (especially outlook)
- Active Directory 2008 R2 support skills
- Problem management (specific skill-set)
Additional skills:
MCSE/MCP or equivalent - Windows 7
At least 4 years relevant industry experience
Able to work under pressure and think on your feet
Analytical and numerate
Used to problem solving under pressure
Well organised
Customer facing
Good communication skills
