A rapidly expanding Software House based in central Leeds are looking for a SQL Database Specialist to join their growing IT team. The SQL Database Specialist must have a strong focus on database development using SQL Server, ideally with SQL 2008 R2 or SQL 2012; and must have expert T-SQL skills. This role will be working with internal customers and client managers and the SQL Database specialist will be responsible for taking their requirements and developing SQL Database solutions to suit. As a result, in addition to strong technical experience, excellent communication skills are required.
This company produces a bespoke ERP & MRP systems for SME clients who are largely based in the Retail & Manufacturing sectors, and their company has doubled in size to over 200 staff in the last three years.
They are looking for a candidate with the following technical skills:
- An excellent understanding of SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012
- Transact-SQL query language
- Development of large, high-concurrency databases
Additional desirable skills include:
- Microsoft BI Stack experience ( SSAS / SSRS / SSIS )
- Data-Warehousing
- VBA / MS Access
