I have a fantastic opportunity working for a financial services company based in Hampshire as a SAS / SPSS Analyst. The role will involve working in a team and very closely with a Pricing Manger / Risk Manager. You will support in increasing revenue and profitability of the companies purchase activities through risk pricing, predictive analysis and strategy and model development. You will extract data from multiple sources to produce in-depth analysis to support pricing and strategy decisions.
The role will also involve development of Predictive Pricing Models and looking at the approach to pricing portfolios and looking at the pricing process from receipt of data to pricing proposals, including the application of pricing models and analysis.
Skills required:
- Degree in relevant discipline such as Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering
- Ability to understand complex models and scorecards
- Exposure to statistical tools such as SAS / SPSS
- Excel and SQL
- Use of data mining and analytical tools
