Product Design Engineer - West Yorkshire - £32,000 to £37,000
This client is a well-established innovator, manufacturer and supplier of specialist equipment. With a strong focus on product development, you will work closely with the R&D and Manufacturing teams using SolidWorks to design their products.
The role primarily involves having to produce from concept through to final specification, engineering and drawings in response to customer bespoke requirements. You will be a Design Engineer with excellent skills and technical problem solving capabilities. The ideal candidate would have experience in the design of fabricated products, castings and mouldings.
Person Specification
-Can work to deadlines within a team environment
-Can use their initiative to solve technical problems
- You must have the right to work in the UK
Qualification and Experience
- Degree Educated (HNC/HND or above in a mechanical engineering discipline)
- Experience using 3D CAD Package preferably Solid Works (Applicants with other 3D CAD skills will be considered)
-A background in the design of Mechanical products
-Hydraulics experience would be advantageous
