My Cambridgeshire based client is seeking an Oracle Applications Database Administrator.
You will be responsible for both Oracle Database Administration and Oracle E-business Suite Administration; maintaining and monitoring Oracle databases and integrity, backup and recovery, maintenance and upgrades, maintaining and monitoring application (Workflow, Concurrent Requests, Alerts etc), maintenance and upgrades of E-business suite.
You will need to be a highly technical individual with hands on support experience in Oracle 9i, 10g or 11g DBA, Oracle E-Business Suite 11i or R12 DBA and be competent in the areas of SQL programmer, PLSQL programmer and Linux Shell scripting.
The role is principally as a Oracle / Oracle E-Business Applications DBA but given the size of the team which is relatively large, the candidate will also be engaged in full lifecycle support including full time assignment to development projects.
