Southwark School Supply Service are looking for energetic, enthusiastic and flexible Nursery Teachers to fill day to day and long term vacancies in with their client schools and Children Centres in the London Borough of Southwark.
We work in collaboration with various local authorities, providing you opportunities to work across South East London. Currently, we are recruiting teachers to join us .
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they are able to work as part of a committed, enthusiastic and happy team in caring for and teaching 2 ½ - 4 year olds, with particular responsibility for all areas of the teaching, learning and care of a small class of children within the larger group.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
To plan, prepare and organise activities for a small group of 2 ½ - 4 years olds, in line with the EYFS curriculum and able to meet the diverse needs and interests of each child.
To maintain individual records for each child based on observation and interaction, in order to monitor their progress and as a tool for planning and assessments.
To work supportively and collaboratively as part of a small team.
To behave in a warm, friendly yet professional manner towards colleagues, children and parents.
