Currently looking to recruit a Health Physicist for a 12 months contract to be based in the Bristol Area. You must be SC Cleared with Nuclear Experience.
Duties
- Providing day to day RPA/ Health Physics advice
- Providing specialist advice in the production of HAZAN/ HAZOP Assessments
- Providing advice to the Duty Manager, where necessary
- Provision of Radiological Protection Courses (small numbers)
- Development of Radiological improvements
- Completion of Dose Estimates
- Management of Source Database
- Input in to Method Statements, Operator Instructions and Plant Modification documentation

In order to be able to carry out these duties you will need to be medically fit. You must have experience in giving radiological advice on a nuclear licensed site.
- Essential Skills/ Qualifications
- RPA Certificate of Competence (not applicable for Health Physicists)
- GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics and English (or equivalent)
- Desirable Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Science Degree
