Component Engineer - obsolescence - Permanent - West Sussex

I am recruiting for a Component Engineer with previous commercial experience of component engineering to manage electronic components in use and those being introduced in new designs. Requirements:
  • Qualification in Electronics
  • Component Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components
  • Ability to resolve component obsolescence
  • Sourcing alternative components
  • Abitlity to perform test and evaluation of components in new and existing designs
  • Excellent communication skills to work with the design teams
This is a unique role which requires someone with good interpersonal skills to communicate with both internal and external customers/ suppliers.
