Software Test/ Validation Engineer - Permanent - Berkshire
A new opportunity has arisen for a Software Test/Validation Engineer to join a leading edge technology company based in Berkshire.
Joining a growing team of other software test/ validation engineers, you will play a critical role in the validation/ qualification process. Responsibilities will include definition of validation/ test plans, development of system-level validation software and debug of test failures and working closely with the Firmware and ASIC teams.
The right candidate will meet most or all of the following:
Degree educated or equivalent
Proven experience in embedded system or firmware test/ validation and/or development
Experience of microprocessor architectures and software debug tools
Experience of SATA, SAS, or PCIe protocol and debug
Experience of C and Python languages
Experience with embedded device or SoC development/ debug
We are interested in a range of candidates from junior to principal level. Salary will range depending on level of experience (£30,000 - £40,000 per annum)
