A large pharma company is now seeking an interim senior health economist for a 3 months contract.
Role Purpose
Through the effective management of a portfolio of products, assist in the continued development of a pro-active in-house approach to the economic evaluation of BIUK pharmaceutical products with reference to well-founded research and reasoning on cost effectiveness, quality of life considerations and other pharmaco-economic arguments appropriate to specific situations.
Role Specific Knowledge, Skills and Experience at Entry
-Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant area
-Relevant post-graduate qualification e.g. MSc Health Economics would be advantageous
-Knowledge and practical application of all relevant methods of economic evaluation
-Experience in modelling is essential
-Experience of developing UK health economic strategies
-Responsible for making health technology appraisal submissions
-Computer literate

This client is willing to pay up to 1000 pounds a day for the right candidate, and may be willing to consider 2 or 3 days a week but 5 days is there preference.
