Job Title: Business Development / Portfolio Development Manager

Location: South Ruislip,West London

Job Profile:

The Business & Portfolio Development Manager will be essentially required to co-ordinate the management, reporting and delivery of strategic business development projects from product selection to launch and to manage the Pharma pipeline activities efficiently among cross functional departments globally. There is also a B2B commercial aspect involved which requires commercial liaison and negotiation with group/third party manufacturers as well as local customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary & Secondary data analysis to provide up to date market (pricing, sizing, competitor, IP) information on pipeline generics portfolio
  • Liaising closely with internal/external departments for any prospective molecule and formalizing market strategy with wider BD teams.
  • Evaluating project budget expectations & providing justified recommendations for commercial viability.
  • Assist supply chain manager with collating customer rolling forecasts and BD team product requirements on monthly basis. Ensuring accuracy to avoid out of stock or over stock scenario
  • Advising on required transfer prices and attainable market share/secured or proposed distribution agreements.
    Secondary care Tender bid & contracts management, liaising with NHS purchasing agencies
    Analysing and reporting on distributor/out-sourced logistics partner service performance and maintaining SLA's/rolling product forecast schedules in correlation with supply chain manager & third party suppliers.
    Building customer and third party supplier relations. Conducting regular meetings for supplier performance, GMP compliance and pricing reviews, including negotiations for additional product manufacturing opportunities.
  • Analysing MA maintenance costs against yearly product sales performance and reporting on decline/growth of generic molecule. Divesting of MA's activity and analysing possible dossier/in-licensing investment opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum 2 to 3 years of Generic Pharma experience in similar role
  • Science graduate desirable
  • Fluent in verbal and written English is mandatory
  • Candidate will work from Aurobindo European Head Quarter based in South Ruislip,London.
  • Candidate will be required to travel abroad if necessary to attend Pharma events, meet with contract manufacturers or clients as business needs may require.
  • Proficient in analysing various data sources (IMS Health, NHS PCA, Wave Data, Rama XL) to provide meaningful information
  • Sound knowledge of UK/EU Regulatory and Compliance requirements
  • Experience in project managing
  • Capable to lead presentations to senior management, partners and customers
  • Must be a clear communicator & team player with ability to adapt to different cultures within an organisation
  • Must have permanent approved residence/work permit status forUK
  • Strong understanding of the UK Generics and NHS market
