I have a new role for a Application Business Analyst at my global very well known client who work in the energy sector.
This role is based in Surrey and is very easily commutable and close to London.
Main Purpose of Job:
The purpose of this role is to provide integral contribution to the development and growth of my clients IT business.
To operate as a functional financial systems expert, for both the IT and Finance Department. To ensure that projects are properly controlled and reported.
Contribute towards departmental and organisational agreed company objectives.
Working as part of the global IT Department, adhering to corporate standards across all the company's technology.
Support, troubleshoot, and resolve end user problems relating to the Finance/IT area.
To be responsible for extracting data from the Accounting and Revenue systems, providing trends and analysis to the company.
Performing data-intensive calculations around revenue, profit, loss and expense data.
Partner and coordinate software vendors on executing the Finance system improvements.
Assist with and seek the best solution on project management tasks.
Desired Experience (Please note you do not need experience with all of these technologies. Most of them are nice to have. You do need experience with working with financial systems and have worked with data management and reporting tools)
Strong experience of working as a liaison between Finance and IT.
Highly proficient in Data Management and reporting tools similar to Access, SQL Queries, SAS, Business Objectives and Excel.
Experienced in operating financial changes in CRM systems (Dynamics CRM, SugarCRM, SageCRM, Salesforce, Act, Quickbooks etc).
Strong working knowledge of IT in general with a background in data mining and data standardization.
Experience working with any BI technologies (Cognos, Informaatica, MS SSIS/SSRS, OLAP, data modelling, data warehousing).
