We are seeking a tenacious Senior PR Account Executive to join a specialist foodservice PR & Marketing agency based in Kent to work on iconic food & drink brands.

The successful Senior PR Account Executive will have at least 12 months experience of working on B2B trade communications for food and drink brands, ideally within an agency.

You will need to be creative, energised and passionate about food & drink PR. As Senior Account Executive you will have excellent writing skills and confidence when proactively pitching your clients' stories to the trade press. The successful candidate will also know how to implement and manage social media as part of integrated client campaigns.

The Senior Account Executive also needs to be highly organised to manage multiple projects and deadlines to provide support for the Account Managers and Directors.

Key duties include:

*To draft written materials to an excellent standard including press releases, feature pitches, thought leadership articles, media briefing sheets and biographies.

*To proactively manage the features programme by monitoring all relevant forthcoming features and tackling opportunities to ensure ideas are sold in and relevant client information is provided ahead of deadline.

*To be responsible for maintaining client status reports, ensuring other team members have contributed before sending to clients on time.

*To compile and manage up to date client press lists.

*To liaise with clients on matters for which they are responsible and when attending client meetings create agendas and contact reports.

*To maintain strong media contacts in areas relevant to client activity and proactively take advantage of opportunities to regularly meet key journalists face-to-face

*To liaise with third-party suppliers such as design, photography, print, research and venues/catering etc.

*To assist in the arrangement of press briefings, photocalls and other events.

*To maintain adequate supplies of client marketing collateral.

*To ensure press cuttings books are completed to a high quality of presentation and sent to client on time.

Key requirements:
*Knowledge and experience of foodservice PR & Marketing or at least food & drink
*Highly creative with excellent writing and media relations skills
*Strong understanding of integrating social media into PR campaigns

*A growing network of press contacts across foodservice trade media
