North West Kent College is a general Further and Higher education college and is the number one choice for students aged 16 and over in Kent and South London, rated the most successful in Kent, with 95% of students passing full-time courses in 2011/12.

North West Kent College are looking for Trustees as College Governor, ( Corporation Board Member), with director level strategic management experience, particularly in the fields of finance, audit, legal matters or human resources, with an active interest in further and higher education and a commitment to quality and raising standards
Your insight, experience and ideas will widen the perspective of the Boardroom and have an impact on the performance and success of the College
The Corporation Board and its committees meet during the academic term and meetings take place on Tuesday or Wednesday at 5.30pm at either the Dartford or Gravesend site. Board members are expected to attend Corporation Board meetings , a minimum of 3 per academic year, as well as contribute to committee membership. The committee meets once per term at 5.30pm, approx 8 hours per academic term are needed.
