Nursery Nurse job available from June 2013 within a Primary School
Randstad Education are working exclusively with a school in Newcastle upon Tyne who are seeking to appoint a qualified Nursery Nurse to work in their Foundation Unit.
The successful candidate will be required to cover two terms.

The School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to work in Foundation Stage.
The role will require you to:
Assist the class teacher on a daily basis with whole class teaching and group work
Plan activities with the class teacher to encourage children's development.
Read stories and provide other activities to develop language skills.
Help children to learn number skills
Keep a record of children's progress and share information with staff & parents.
Be aware of health and safety and making sure children are safe - and report any concerns
To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a recognised Nursery Nurse Qualification
- Be familiar with the UK curriculum
- Valid references, DBS/police checks
Successful applicants will need to possess the following skills:
- Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills
- Positive and creative approach in the classroom
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Highly organised with excellent preparation
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and parents.
