My client is award-winning, global provider of human resource management solutions. Very successful, well established company in their market with key blue chip clients. To fuel their consistent growth they are now seeking to take on a J2EE engineer with Single Sign On (SSO) experience to join their growing operations in South Dublin.
In collaboration with account managers, you will outline, design, develop and implement SSO solutions. This is a client-facing role - you will communicate with clients very regularly to outline solutions and to alleviate any issues that may occur. As a J2EE developer, you will also be responsible for maintaining the solutions implemented. You will be involved over the whole project lifecycle - from concept design, through development, testing, implementation and maintainence. This role is a combination of development and maintanence/problem-solving. You will create highly flexible and maintainable solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring best practice techniques and approaches are implemented. As a J2EE developer in this company, your working hours will be from 12-8pm as you will be collaborating with colleagues based in the US.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
A minimum of 2 years commercial experience in a J2EE environment.
Familiar with Single Sign On (SSO) concepts.
Experience with JSP, EJB, Servlets, Struts, Spring, JDBC, XML, AJAX desirable.
Comfortable with Junit and Mock Objects.
Experience with JBoss, Web Logic, Apache Tomcat desirable.
An understanding of authentication and encryption technologies.
Excellent communication skills. (both written and verbal)
