Seeking a Team Leader / Senior Mechanical engineer to work for an extremely exciting organisation based in Surrey. This is a critical lead role for a growing organisation who specialise in the design and supply of subsea equipment. Salary £85,000.

My clients product families include subsea mooring connectors and high pressure drilling components and as a result of recent success have invested a lot of money within the RnD department.

This role is for a strong engineer with a proven track record in Mechanical Design who has a good technical understanding but has moved up into more Team Lead / Project Management positions. You MUST also have experience working in and Oil and Gas environment.

You MUST also have experience offshore working on platforms so you can relate back to the client and be able to understand how all the kit goes together.

It would also be ideal if you have experience / an understanding of wire lines, Christmas trees, flow lines or pipelines.

You will be guiding a team of engineers and designers in the detailed design of subsea equipment including ROV interfaces. You will be involved in overseeing the activity of the whole design team ensuring development is too the highest standard and that you are keeping within time constraints outlined.

This role will involve client facing meetings to help define requirements so customer facing experience and good communication skills are essential.
