My client is NOT a consultancy. This is an in-house role.

My Client is an international company, with an excellent worldwide reputation
within the financial industry. They are developing a new global hub, which is
to be based in Dublin. As part of their new global strategy they are looking to
develop a team of technical architects that will have broad and specialised
technical skills. They urgently need Linux / UNIX or IBM platform technical
architects, 4 to be precise.

The Opportunity: You will be joined with 6 others, in this new team. As this
is brand new, as the primary Linux / UNIX or IBM platform Architects you will
get the opportunity to really make an impact on the global infrastructure.
One of your main duties will to be a key decision maker in the vision for the
companies global infrastructure. This is a governance role opposed to a hands-on
technical position, as the majority of IT is outsourced. They are looking for
someone that will come in and decide on what the vision will be for the global
infrastructure. They need this Linux / UNIX or IBM platform Architect to look
under the hood and investigate the infrastruture that already exists.

Your Profile and Background: You will have excellent Linux / UNIX or
IBM platform knowledge. You must have been part of a project similar to this
before, using your hands on Linux / UNIX or IBM platform hands-on skills.
You will know how to communicate and negotiate cross cultures, with internal
clients and with the business side of the business. You will have a proven
track record of building relationships, breaking down barriers in an effort
to ensure the success of the project.

If this seems like the best move for you get in touch as interviews are to
be held this month. This is not the type of position that comes up everyday.
It is fantastic opportunity for a Linux / UNIX or IBM platform Architect to
be part of something new, on a huge scale.
