My client is currently looking for graduates or candidates with some exposure to developing embedded code to verify hardware functionality in wireless communication technology or in a relevant project at a university. The below experience could be as part of academic project work, internships or commercial experience.

Exposure or experience in embedded SW coding with C, Lauterbach Practice scripts, Trace 32 tool and use of debug JTAG tools for ARM controllers and/or other DSPs.

Coding in assembly language for RISC processors.

RTL coding for ASIC/ FPGA designs

Good understanding of hardware design and the software control necessary to activate the hardware functional blocks.

Hands-on debugging skills and experience with software/hardware integration.


Experience in bring-up and verification of chipsets for GSM/ WCDMA for a commercial handset

Experience or knowledge in development of TDMA, CDAMA, OFDM(A) based ASIC/DSP solutions.

This role is paying up to £35,000 - and comes with an excellent benefits package for the right candidate.
