The Organisation:


The Green Recruitment Company is recruiting an exciting job opportunity with a UK based wind energy developer and operator. They specialise in onshore projects and have an ever-expanding pipeline of projects in England and Scotland. As a result of increased workload, this client requires an experienced developer to guide projects through the site appraisal and planning process.


The Role:

Reporting to Head of Projects, you will be delivering large scale PV projects. You will be involved from planning and implementing a number of functions and run across the life span from inception to handover. You will be working towards agreed budgets and times frames with a high level understanding of construction, legal, commercial and technical activities.


Responsibilities:

• Accountability for project delivery.
• Lead the planning and implementation of the solar projects.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop full scale project plans.
• Assemble and coordinate project staff.
• Manage project budget.
• Manage project resource allocation.
• Plan and schedule project timelines.
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Provide direction and support to project team.
• Monitor and track quality assurance.
• Constantly monitor and regularly report on progress of the project to Head of Projects.
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Project evaluations and assessment of results.


Experience and skills:

• qualification in project management.
• knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
• direct work experience in project management capacity.
• proven experience in people management.
• proven experience in strategic planning.
• proven experience in risk management.
• proven experience in change management.
• proficient in project management software.
