Interim Executive Headteacher
Start date: September 2013 for approximately one year
This larger than average Junior School has just been judged as requiring improvement and is looking to recruit an Interim Executive Headteacher to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for the newly federated Infants and Junior Schools.
*Working alongside the Headteacher to provide inspirational and motivational leadership across the school.
*Leading the drive to improve the quality of teaching and learning, establishing higher expectations.
*Develop and implement effective monitoring, intervention and performance management strategies.
*Support, mentor and develop staff in the use of assessment for learning to further improve their effectiveness.
*Improving the progress made by all pupils in English and Maths.
From a Primary School background and previous experience as an Executive Headteacher, you have a demonstrable track record in raising the quality of teaching and learning and improving standards of literacy and numeracy. A direct communicator and effective coach, you have the ability to mentor and performance manage staff to deliver outstanding results.
